About this Site
My name is a Gabriel Yeager, you are now entering my mind. The content of this site is utilized in three distinct ways.
First, some of you have been referred to this site to investigate my photography passion and services. While I do have limited experience in the field, I do take pride in my skills that I have applied. That being said, I am always looking for new and challenging subjects to enhance these skills, build my portfolio, and benefit the observers. If you are interested in this aspect of me, please inspect the “Photography” page and contact me via the information provided on the “Contact” page.
Secondly, others of you have been directed to this site to view the content created in instructional design and technology. The “Instruction” section of this site contains many free tutorials, as well as some examples of our professional training portfolio.
Lastly, many of you have been redirected to this site because you have personally encountered me, and want to learn more about who I am, what I do, and what my experiences have been in this crazy mess we call life. Those of you that fall into this category, please feel free to browse aimlessly, or focus on the “Academics” page designed specifically with you in mind. Here you will find many discussions pertaining to psychology, academics, educational theories, and everyday life.
Finally, some of you are stragglers that have stumbled into my lonely western town of life, and you might find yourself to be a little apprehensive as to what you will find here. Fear not, for everything here is a reflection of my personality, thoughts, and experiences of life. Life is a subjective topic, but if constantly observed, it creates diverse patterns of thoughts that are applicable in all aspects of being.
If you managed to stick it out to the end and read these simple words, I applaud you and your tenacity. Give yourself a pat on the back, and shall you choose to accept it, continue to browse this site.
About Me
I am a graduate student from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, which I am utilizing to pursue a Master of Arts in Instructional Design & Technology through the University of Central Florida under the guidance of Dr. Atsusi Hirumi and Dr. Glenda Gunter.
Along the way I have acquired more than eight years of customer service experience in various settings, including as a Peer Advisor in academics. Furthermore, I have gained valuable teaching experience at the University of Central Florida as a Teaching Assistant during my senior year, and am an instructor of a four-week orientation course at a state college. Additionally, I have conducted research studies and statistical analyses at the University of Central Florida under Dr. Peter Hancock and Dr. Wei Wang. My current research interest lies within learning through internet-based video games in a global capacity.
Through my experiences and interests in education, I am seeking to continue growing in this field. With my passion for learning and my thirst for knowledge, combined with my understanding of psychology and behavior, I desire to use these strengths to enhance training and instruction.
In my personal life, I have been working on cars since I was 12 years old. I bought my first vehicle when I was 15 and have been addicted ever since. From restoration to modification, racing to photography and events, I have found a great deal of pleasure in the automotive industry. This is where my passion for photography is seeded, along with my love for the magnificent power and beauty of nature.
